Abstract: In the final degree work, a module for measuring electrical energy consumption was developed and implemented with real-time feedback of information for the user through an HMI. Based on the study of loads in the home where the meter was installed and the characteristics that it had to meet, the electrical, electronic and mechanical design parameters were determined, as well as the operating mode that the module had to follow. The meter has a database hosted in the cloud, with the help of the Firebase platform, where the information of electricity consumption for each hour is stored, which allows a more extensive record of information. The tests to verify the correct operation of the meter were carried out by comparing measurements with a multimeter for the case of current and voltage. Regarding the measurement of electrical energy consumption, this was compared with the measurement obtained by the conventional meter of the distribution company, with all these tests carried out, the correct operation of the meter was verified within the range of error raised no greater than 5%.
