Zusammenfassung: The construction industry has been one of the largest causes of environmental deterioration around the world, using 40% of energy,12% of drinking water, and 50% of the total waste generated by the use of materials. This document makes a proposal for sustainable rehabilitation under the objectives of energy reduction and environmental impact, applying the EDGE Certification Standard for Green Buildings. Being the case study, the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Building at the National Polytechnic School, located in Quito-Ecuador. It was built in 1980, since when then is has presented high energy consumption. This consumption was determined by a research of document information, 3D modeling, and energy analysis of the building with Autodesk Revit and Insight tools. With all the data obtained, a EDGE software analysis has been carried out to identify the baseline of the project and to determine the energy efficiency measures that will help to achieve a minimum saving of 20% in the consumption of electricity, drinking water and the use of materials with which the first level of EDGE certification is reached. Subsequently, the modeling is carried out by implementing the efficiency measures for the sustainable rehabilitation proposal. Finally, in the evaluation phase, a comparison is made between the current state and the rehabilitated project, and a financial, economic and environmental analysis were conducted
