Abstract

The project aims to implement regulations of the Structured Cabling System (SCE) in the office area 3 of the School of Training of Technologists (ESFOT), in order to improve the efficiency, quality and safety of the network, to comply with international standards of structured cabling ensures proper connectivity of all transmission media including security by connecting directly to your active equipment and being in a telecommunications room respecting the areas and subsystems of the wiring. For which several procedures will be performed to ensure compliance with the guarantees offered by the structured cabling with quality standards. The SCE is responsible for most of the technical failures that exist within the network; therefore, it was necessary to analyze the structure of the structured cabling network that is installed, changes to be made and improvements incorporated.
