Implementación de un sistema de control domótico orientado a personas con discapacidad motriz.

Abstract

This document is based on the design, implementation and functional tests of a home automation control system aimed at people with motor disabilities, through levels of attention and blinks. The first chapter details the problems found in people with motor disabilities at the time of getting around at home and carrying out activities such as turning lights on or off, answering the door or controlling devices that require physical movement of the person. A solution is proposed through wireless technologies, brain signal acquisition technologies and blink detection. In addition, the theoretical foundations that complement the content of this work are detailed. The second chapter presents the methodology applied in the project, where the methods were used: exploratory, analytical and applied, because the implementation of the system was carried out through the use of existing technologies. The third chapter details the results and discussion; starting with a study of technologies and algorithms for the acquisition of brain signals and identification of blinks, followed by the design of an App and the implementation of the system. Finally, the tests carried out to determine the total operation of the system are shown. The fourth and fifth section shows the conclusions and recommendations obtained after the implementation of the system, and the bibliography that supports the theoretical framework. In the sixth section, the necessary annexes are presented with the documentation for the implementation of the system, such as: programming codes for Arduino, Python and App Inventor.
