Análisis de la geomorfología fluvial en el Río Coca en el periodo 1969 - 2016: influencia de eventos geodinámicos y antrópicos

Abstract

The main objective of this project is to examine the nature of the change of the forms of the channel in the short term (1969 to 2016), for a stretch of the Coca River and some of its tributaries (Rio Salado and Rio Quijos), and relate the geodynamic and anthropogenic affectations in the hydrographic basin studied. Considering that the river systems generate the drag of materials naturally or by the actions of human beings, it is necessary to analyze the reasons or the causes of the variation, reason why the use of images or orthophotos allow the assessment and description of the environment, for ejecution of this work was used the supervised image classification method to know the elements in the area of interest.
