In the present project, a prototype system was developed to monitor the alerts generated by an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) based on the functional analysis of the NDC communication protocol, for this the client-server architecture was considered. The server listens through the requested and unsolicited messages for later storage, generate reports and, if necessary, notify the person responsible for the ATM. The modules are supported by a database (BDD) implemented in SQL Server, which stores the information of ATM terminals, responsible, user profiles of the system, alerts, and other information that arises in the development of the system. It includes information, features of the NDC protocol. The following requested messages are considered: ATM in service, ATM out of service, dispatch of counters and sending of date and time information for synchronization. Likewise, at least the following unsolicited messages were considered: physically damaged drawer, cashless drawer, reader with hardware problems, damaged dispenser, damaged printer and EPP hardware failure. It verifies the operation of the system by conducting tests using the infrastructure provided by the Transactional Network of Cooperatives S.A.es_ES
