Implementación de una Aplicación Prototipo de Videoconferencia basada en el Middleware DDS-RTPS

Abstract

The present project aims at the development of a prototype videoconference application, that bases its operation in a middleware that implements functionalities of the technologies Data Distribution System (DDS) and Real Time Publish Suscribe (RTPS). First, a brief study of the specific characteristics and performance defined in the standard published by the Object Management Group (OMG), and the middleware DDS-RTPS, which will be in charge of the information step. Subsequently, the necessary requirements for the implementation of the modules that make up the prototype videoconference application are defined, these are audio, video, control and DDS-RTPS developed in C# language. A brief summary of the design, interaction between modules and implementation is presented. Finally an operating environment is presented, where the application will be tested in a network of four computers that exchange information (audio and video).
