In the transport of gas production under offshore conditions the formation of methane hydrates can cause blockages in the pipes, generating production losses, infrastructure damage and environmental impact, so it is necessary to propose alternatives to guarantee the continuous flow of production in a safe and friendly manner with the environment, in this work we analyzed the Low Dosage Hydrates (LDHI), as a new qualitative and quantitative method for the control of hydrate formation in gas transport, by means of the identification of parameters that affect the behavior of the process when interacting with the hydrate. This analysis was carried out based on case studies that were conducted in Texas - USA (Notz, P.K. et al., 1995), and the Gulf of Mexico (Talley, L.D. et al., 1999), where they have given favorable results when controlling the formation of hydrates in off-shore operations, the results of this analysis were correlated with the operational conditions of the Amistad field, it was also considered that the characteristics of natural gas changed their composition over time, so a management system was carried out to improve the effectiveness of the inhibitores_ES
