dc.description	El presente trabajo de titulación tiene como propósito realizar un análisis técnico comparativo entre los estándares de redes de acceso ópticas pasivas GPON (Gigabyt Passive Optical Network) y XGS-PON (X-roman numeral Gigabyt Symmetric PON), tomando en cuenta los principales parámetros que faciliten la diferenciación y descripción de la coexistencia entre estas dos tecnologías. En el primer capítulo, se presenta un compendio de consideraciones teóricas en las cuales sustenta el trabajo de investigación, en pro de describir los diferentes términos, tecnologías y elementos que permiten la consolidación del conocimiento en base a las redes de acceso óptico, fibra óptica, redes PON y su evolución, redes FTTx y elementos de redes ópticas. En el segundo capítulo, se expone una extracción y síntesis técnica basadas en las normativas de las familias ITU-T (Telecommunication Standardization Sector of International Telecomunication Union) G.984.x e ITU-T G.9807.x, así como las que se desligan de estas, que representan un punto focal para realizar el análisis comparativo con bases técnicas y un estudio de coexistencia. El tercer capítulo se toma en cuenta los resultados de los anteriores capítulos y se genera una discusión en torno a la comparación de tecnologías GPON y XGS-PON, en términos de estructura. Además, se realiza una comparación de parámetros técnicos: servicios soportados, longitudes de onda, etc. Finalmente se realiza un análisis de coexistencia entre las dos redes y se realiza un análisis de XGS-PON en el mundo. Por último, se presentan las conclusiones y recomendaciones que se desglosan del trabajo de investigación realizado.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this degree work is to carry out a comparative technical analysis between the passive optical access network standards GPON (Gigabyt Passive Optical Network) and XGS-PON (X-roman numeral Gigabyt Symmetric PON), considering the main parameters that facilitate the differentiation and description of the coexistence between these two technologies. In the first chapter, a compendium of theoretical considerations is presented on which the research work is based, to describe the different terms, technologies and elements that allow the consolidation of knowledge based on optical access networks, fiber optics, PON networks and their evolution, FTTx networks and optical network elements. In the second chapter, an extraction and technical synthesis based on the regulations of the ITU-T families (Telecommunication Standardization Sector of International Telecommunication Union) G.984.x and ITU-T G.9807.x, as well as those that are separated from these, which represent a focal point to carry out the comparative analysis with technical bases and a study of coexistence. The third chapter considers the results of the previous chapters, and a discussion is generated around the comparison of GPON and XGS-PON technologies, in terms of structure. In addition, a comparison of technical parameters is made supported services, wavelengths, etc. Finally, an analysis of coexistence between the two networks is carried out and an analysis of XGS-PON in the world is carried out. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations that are broken down from the research work carried out are presented.	es_ES
