Resumen: Due to the requirement of analog controllers that improve the efficiency of industrial processes, this paper proposes the design and implementation of a LAMDA controller (Learning Algorithm for Multivariable Data Analysis) that has fuzzy characteristics, which, for its design, do not require in detail the mathematical model of the plant to be controlled. Due to the aforementioned, the implementation of a module for the speed control of three-phase motors is proposed, which will be used in future practices of the Industrial Control/Automation Laboratory using PLC's of the National Polytechnic School, so that students acquire the knowledge and develop skills in handling advanced controllers. The fuzzy controller module will consist of different hardware components such as: a Modicon M580 PLC, a frequency inverter, a three-phase induction motor, a speed sensor coupled to the motor shaft, a microcontroller and a mechanism to add disturbances to the system. . The design and programming of the LAMDA controller is carried out in the Modicon M580 PLC, which is connected through analog signals to the frequency inverter that commands the motor. As it is a closed-loop control system, it is essential to measure the rotational speed of the motor shaft, for which the speed sensor (encoder) that feeds back the system is used. The microcontroller is used to condition the frequency signal from the encoder and convert it into an analog voltage signal that can be read by the PLC since it does not have a fast input and output module. Additionally, a mechanical disturbance input system is added to the three-phase motor to evaluate the performance of the controller in these cases. To observe the response of the controller and evaluate its operation, a graphical interface has been implemented that allows observing the response curves of the system and the configuration of different parameters of the controller. Being a tool that will be used in future practices, a library will be generated that contains the programming of the controller in a single block, where the student must condition the sensor input and establish the gains for the proper functioning of the system.
