Implementación de un sistema de gestión para el departamento médico de ECUAWAGEN S.A

Abstract

Information systems in a business environment have become very important to establish itself as one of the main support tools for information management. This project implements an information management system for the medical department of ECUAWAGEN S.A. using SCRUM as a methodological guide and Visual Studio, Crystal Reports and Informix as development tools. In a first stage of the project called sprint 0 and using the techniques proposed by the methodology as user stories and meetings, macro tasks were performed to analyze and design the system, which allowed to raise and run the following five sprints. These sprints were based on the Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog (SCRUM’s artifacts) and delivered each of the modules of the system as increments, which are: access and administration modules, medical records, medicines and supplies, medical consultations and reports. The system is used as a support tool for their daily work, providing a technological alternative for the administration of the department.
