Estudio Integral para la Identificación de Oportunidades de Desarrollo en el Campo “Iris”

Abstract

Through the creation, characterization and analysis of maps of the properties of the reservoirs in the "Iris" field, reconditioning opportunities were sought for the different sands that it has. In the first chapter, generalities of the field were arranged, such as its location, geology and stratigraphy, the properties of the fluids of its reservoirs, the current state of its wells and the accumulated productions it has in each of its reservoirs. In chapter two the procedure that was carried out to make the maps of properties of the reservoirs and calculation of POES for each sandstone was described in detail. Then the remaining reserves for each reservoir were calculated and the pressures for each of the reservoirs in the field were analyzed to determine the production mechanisms that govern each sandstone. In chapter three, the results obtained from the previous chapter were analyzed, using the maps to characterize the reservoirs together with their production mechanisms. The history of production and interventions of the active and closed wells were examined to identify possible reconditioning works. Once the list of candidate wells was obtained, the respective technical-economic analysis was carried out to determine the feasibility of the reconditioning work. Finally, in chapter four the conclusions and recommendations are made based on the results and analyzes obtained in the previous chapters.
