Resumen: This research is part of the project PIMI-15-04, the concluded that the robot must be of type 3UPS + RPU, also the kinematic analysis was developed, and a system of nonlinear equations was obtained that describe the robot kinematics. These results need to be validated, so a 3D virtual prototype of the robot was made, and the kinematic behavior was simulated. The modeling was done in the MSC Adams software, which is an excellent tool for this type of analysis. it was established the rehabilitation movements, the elements, variables and measurements to determine the kinematics, then a plant compatible with Matlab / Simulink was elaborated and with Matlab programming language it was possible to obtain graphics of the mathematical model and the 3D model Adams which indicate the position, speed and acceleration of each joint of the 4 arms of the robot. To validate these results, we used a residue analysis that was quantify using the mean square error and the percentage error, thus the model described by the system of nonlinear equations is totally reliable and describes correctly the rehabilitation movements.
