Desarrollo de una aplicación web para la gestión de reportes de animales callejeros domésticos en tiempo real dentro del distrito metropolitano de Quito

Abstract

Nowadays, web apps are tools that optimize processes and time, becoming a great help for people. That’s the main reason of this title work, focusing on the development of a web application that manages animals’ reports in real time, animals that are found in the streets of the Metropolitan District of Quito.

The web application allows the user to send reports of rescue, adoption and search of animals, including the locations through the Google Maps API. These reports will be used to create means of information of the problems that animals are going through in the streets, and through the Highcharts API, the information collected is graphically represented.

The web application was developed under the Scrum agile development methodology. It includes documents such as Product List, User Stories, Kanban Boards, among others, which help us to visualize the incremental - functional development that the methodology raises and how has carried out the development process of this project.

Based on functional tests applied to the system, was successfully achieved obtained the proposed criteria. Finally, through surveys carried out to beta users, the correct performance and efficiency of the developed software is evident.
