Resumen: El presente proyecto está orientado a diseñar una red WAN para Sharp del Ecuador, con integración de servicios de voz, datos y video conferencia que permitan mejorar los procesos en las empresas. La consolidación de servicios sobre una misma red admite que los sistemas de administración se vuelven centralizados, también produce una reducción de costos en operación y administración, sin que esto disminuya la capacidad de comunicación entre las diferentes sucursales. En este proyecto uno de los aspectos más importantes es llegar a conocer los requerimientos del usuario y encontrar una solución para los mismos, realizar un análisis de la infraestructura actual y utilizar en lo posible esta infraestructura es tan importante para poder determinar una solución no solo técnicamente viable, sino que también financieramente recomendable. Sharp del Ecuador posee 3 sucursales distribuidas en el país, la red WAN diseñada permitirá la posibilidad de manejar la red a nivel nacional como un sólo sistema, presentando una ventaja para que los trámites y procesos que realiza la empresa sean más ágiles y por ende el usuario final tenga un mejor grado de servicio.
