Abstract

This project describes the design and implementation of a grounding system for the electrical panel of the ESFOT Industrial Technology laboratory, which was installed in order to protect the devices electrical, electronic and human personnel prone to electric shock, short circuit and overload. In section 1 you will find the introduction to the report, which contains most of the information with which to managed to design the grounding system; and for which the objectives that have been set will also be found achieve with the implementation of the grounding system. Section 2 describes the methodology used to solve the problem to be solved with the implementation of the grounding system, existing standards and techniques that are commonly used to guarantee the correct operation of the earthing system. Section 3 describes the results obtained when measuring the parameters for the sizing of the grounding system, the selection of the type of grounding for the laboratory of Industrial technology and testing of the implemented grounding system. It also describes the recommended maintenance for this installation. Section 4 presents the conclusions and recommendations of this project obtained at the conclusion of the implementation of the grounding system for the ESFOT Industrial Technology laboratory. Finally, section 5 details the bibliographic references used for the development of this report, such as such as: technical standards, implementation and maintenance manuals for different types of grounding.
