Implementación de un sistema de reutilización de agua lluvia para un domicilio ubicado en el barrio San Francisco de Huarcay, parroquia La Ecuatoriana, DMQ.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to design and implement a rainwater reuse system to meet the hydro-sanitary and cleaning needs of a home located in the south of Quito, Barrio San Francisco de Huarcay.

First, the introduction exposes the benefit and general operation of the rainwater reuse system. Meanwhile, the objectives detail the purpose of the project.

On the other hand, the methodology details the procedures to meet each of the objectives that serve for the development of the project and thus determine the main characteristics for the sizing of the system such as: catchment area, downspout diameter, volume of the storage tank and the elements of the automated pumping system.

The results and discussion section describes and interprets the most relevant results of the project that contributed to the achievement of the proposed objectives. Next, the conclusions and recommendations of the results obtained in the previous section are presented.

The last section contains the annexes, which include the operation and maintenance manual, the total budget table and the drawings of the system design
