Resumen: Este proyecto es sobre el diseño, implementación e instalación de un centro de servicios de tecnología de información y de la comunicación en el sector de Cumbayá barrio San Bartolomé de Lumbisi que está orientado a brindar a la comunidad Servicios Informático de alta calidad para lo cual se realizó un estudio de mercado con el objetivo de determinar la factibilidad y viabilidad del negocio además del análisis de la gran demanda de clientes que existe en el mercado a su comportamiento, preferencias, gustos y costumbres. La investigación del mercado permitió definir las estrategias del negocio. Definiendo objetivos claros y alcanzables, tácticas ejecutables que permitieron el seguimiento de acciones correctivas en tiempo y orden, también se determinó la viabilidad con éxito ya que se comprobó que en el sector de Cumbayá hay un gran número de personas que requieren de los servicios de un Centro de Servicios (TIC). Para la implementación del Centro de Servicios TIC se considera conveniente: la construcción de una red de Área Local especificada en el estándar de la IEEE 802 , llamada comúnmente Ethernet, que realiza una transmisión sobre UTP "categoría 5e" a una velocidad de proceso de datos de 100Mbps con topología física en estrella y lógica en bus; y la implementación de una red Inalámbrica comúnmente llamada WI-FI especificada en el estándar IEEE 802.11. El centro de servicios (TIC) contará con 2 impresoras, 4 máquinas clientes, un servidor y una red inalámbrica orientado a clientes que utilizan equipos portátiles. El proyecto se realizó con la finalidad de ofrecer a la comunidad servicio profesional de calidad.
