Comparación de las filosofías de diseño y el desempeño real de una estructura, mediante análisis estático lineal, análisis pushover y análisis de historia en el tiempo en una estructura de hormigón armado, incluyendo elementos no estructurales.

Abstract

The present study is carried out through computational models, which allow knowing the dynamic properties of a seven-story structure with a subsoil, implanted in the city of Quito. In addition, it allows us to compare design philosophies through different linear and nonlinear analyses, which differ significantly from each other. In this degree work, it has been possible to determine the influence of non-structural masonry (walls) on the dynamic properties of the building. To achieve the objectives proposed in this project, three nonlinear analyzes have been carried out: nonlinear static pushover analysis (NSP), multimodal analysis (MPA) and time history analysis (NL-RHA). The same ones that have been compared with the results obtained in the linear static analysis carried out by Raúl Paredes in his degree work “Influence of non-structural elements in the dynamic response of a building. Theoretical-experimental approach”. Based on these analyses, the variability of the dynamic properties and the contribution of the masonry were identified. For the modeling of the structure, the structural plans of the Alicante Building provided by Constructora Herpayal through Raúl Paredes have been used. In the same way, the characteristics of the masonry used for the modeling of the study carried out were taken from the properties of the materials calculated experimentally in the thesis of Raúl Paredes.
