Abstract: El turismo es una actividad económica de gran auge internacional y que juega un papel muy importante en nuestra economía, es necesario analizar el impacto medioambiental, pues las relaciones entre turismo y medio ambiente son cada día más estrechas, ya que, las tendencias actuales de la demanda turística se orientan hacia un turismo basado en la naturaleza (ecoturismo) y como tal este puede contribuir, de manera importante, a la conservación del patrimonio natural. Por consiguiente, el turismo no puede quedar exento de acciones que incorporen criterios de sostenibilidad, es decir, de planteamientos que tengan una nueva visión consecuente con las exigencias medioambientales. La idea de este proyecto de turismo, se basa en el comportamiento que tiene el turista tanto a nivel mundial como a nivel local es decir la tendencia con la que se mueve, por lo cual, se considera al Eco-turismo como una actividad floreciente en nuestro país con la gran diferencia de que esta no contamina como algunas industrias y más bien su mayor fortaleza es mantener y promover el ambiente en el que se desarrolla.
