Estudio del handover en redes lte mediante mediciones de campo: análisis estadístico de los parámetros del handover en redes de telefonía celular en base a mediciones de campo.

Abstract

The present work of curricular integration deals with the statistical analysis of the RF parameters presents when the handover is executed. This work is divided into three chapters, the first chapter corresponds to the theoretical framework, the second chapter to the methodology and the third chapter to the results and analysis, then each of the chapters will be detailed. The first chapter defines the characteristics and operation of the mobile applications Net Monitor Lite, CellMapper and G-NetTrack Lite that were used in the data collection of RF parameters in an LTE network, in addition the technical characteristics of the user equipment that were used in this stage of data collection are detailed. On the other hand, the R and RStudio programs specialized in data analysis are defined and, finally, the concepts necessary to perform a descriptive and exploratory statistical analysis are detailed. The second chapter describes the data collection stage, the identification and definition of the parameters to be collected, the areas and/or routes where the data were collected, the schedule of the collection stage, the initial preprocessing of the data obtained and the code that was implemented in the R programming language through its IDE RStudio for the statistical analysis in the cellular telephone network. In the third chapter we have presented the results, statistical analysis of the handover radio parameters, conclusions, and recommendation of the set of samples obtained in route 1 located in the Quitumbe sector, route 2 located in San Bartolo and route 3 located in La Floresta.
