Sistema Integrado de Gestión aplicado al Proceso de Selección de Fluidos en la empresa “Servicios Petroleros”

Abstract

During the operations of well intervention, several operational problems can occur related to the use of control fluids, causing direct consequences in the production of the well and in also increasing the number interventions to solve these problems. From this point of view, the importance of selecting an optimal control fluid was derived through processes that involved the compliance of the corresponding standards, so, through the PAS 99 guide, an Integrated Management System was developed that applied the international standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 for the process of selection of control fluids in the company "Petroleum Services". The concept of Integrated Management System (SIG) is as an alternative to link new systems with existing ones, mitigating the problems of isolation, disconnection and low performance between systems. With the application of this SIG, the process was defined to select a control fluid aligned to the requirements of the ISO and OHSAS standards that allowed to increase the quality of the products and services, the reliability of the design parameters, the satisfaction of the client to satisfy the requirements, improve the management of the processes, reduce times and costs of operation and finally obtain the certification of the organization.
