Caracterización multi-dimensional (social/ económica/ ambiental) de las estrategias de vida de los beneficiarios del proyecto PIDAASSE en la provincia de Santa Elena

Abstract

In this thesis, the general objective was to determine the multidimensional characteristics that the beneficiaries of the PIDAASSE project live in the province of Santa Elena. The importance of studying this topic was because there is a need to describe and obtain true knowledge since the results such as economic resources are unknown; the social and environmental part of the sector's lands is also ignored. The method addressed in this research paper was social metabolism in terms of interactions between the environment and society; human participation is paramount to obtaining materials, energies and ends when they dispose of waste, fumes, or waste that affect nature. This means that you have inbound and outbound flows.

The topics to be covered were characterization in the social, economic and environmental sphere; it also presents family farming; women in agriculture; sustainable agriculture; agroecology; development; beneficiaries' life strategies and quality of life that those involved sustain in their homes. The nature of this research was qualitative and quantitative, with a scope that was exploratory and descriptive in which surveys were allowed, interviews with the beneficiaries of the communes of Santa Elena, on the other hand, the statistical data of INEC and MAGAP assisted in the research. The results resulted in what their components are, on the other hand, it was recognized what the life strategy of the beneficiaries is. It also identified who were the beneficiaries and actors of the project.
