Abstract

This research work shows the need for internet service provider companies to have their own OTN network (optical transport network) and stop depending on third-party companies to manage their own capacity in the market, in order to stay in business. time and grow. The first part of the work shows how to design, build and implement an optical transport network in addition to the maintenance service that is needed to keep the OTN network operational. Once a budget for the construction of the network has been developed, we financially compare what a company will invest in renting capacity against the use of its own resource.
