Estudio de factibilidad y diseño de un ISP inalámbrico (WISP) en la provincia Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, para brindar el servicio de internet a las comunidades Tsáchilas El Poste y El Cóngoma.

Abstract

With the constant change, increased use of the Internet and the difficult access to certain rural areas, the digital divide has turned out to be more significant. Therefore, the creation of a wireless ISP (WISP) for the Tsáchilas El Poste and El Cóngoma communities will provide easy access to tele-education, telework, telecommerce, telehealth, among others. Thus reducing the technological barriers that exist in the sector due to its difficult access, since the Internet has become a priority for people. This Degree Work provides the necessary guidelines for a radio frequency link over long distances, using the IEEE 802.11ac Standard, the provisions of the regulatory entities to carry out said link are reviewed. The corresponding simulation of the main radio link is performed to compare the calculations obtained. Therefore, the project is made up of four chapters that are described as follows; In the first chapter a basic description of the theoretical foundations necessary to understand a radio link is presented in a general way, in the second chapter a link budget is made, and the best geographical points are determined by means of software, in the third chapter the results are discussed. and finally, it is concluded, and some recommendations are given.
