Resumen: STS studies constitute a powerful tool to rethink thoughts about the work of science and technology from social demands, and about how knowledge is produced, validated, distributed, and consumed. The progressive inclusion of ideas-force such as: equity, interculturality, gender, among others, in the management processes and in the dynamics of the teaching-learning process of education organizations, around the world, has opened a window of opportunities. for analyzes from the CTS field. Within this field, the management of public universities also has an important space because it is from there that interculturality can be included in higher education centers. This work aims to give an idea about how, despite the complexities involved, interculturality can be included from an operational perspective in a public university. Through qualitative research, we sought to broaden the perspectives on the concept of interculturality in the EPN, propose some categories that define it and strategies for its inclusion. The investigation included a documentary review, as well as interviews with internal actors of the EPN and experts in the field. Likewise, the strategies proposed for the integration of interculturality in the substantive functions of the university seek to generate a more robust and contemporary knowledge that contributes to reducing exclusion and training professionals with a more relevant education in terms of justice, equity and equality.
