Abstract .- This project analyzes the technique of IP Spoofing seen as a source point of DoS and MITM attacks. To perform the analysis we configured and used a IPv6 network. This way we can observe how that technique affects clients and services used within medium and large organizations. The project pretends to solve a problem that is well known and is defined in several sources available on the Internet. We use a testing laboratory that allows us to observe which points in the network are vulnerable to such attacks. This allows us to develop the mitigation plan for IP Spoofing. |
