Análisis del funcionamiento de la protección de sobrecorriente direccional de líneas de transmisión ante corrientes evolutivas de cortocircuito

Abstract

With the completion of this titration work, a computational tool is available that facilitates the analysis of the behavior of the overcurrent protections of transmission lines, either when conventional faults or short circuits with evolving currents occur. In this way, this tool can show if the operation of the mentioned protections was incorrect or if, on the contrary, said operation remained within the expected operation, considering its parameterization and adjustment.

As an additional element for the analysis, and considering the characteristics of the overcurrent protections installed in transmission lines, a routine was developed that allows visualizing the directional operating zone established with the polarization method parameterized in the relays.
