Arreglos productivos locales relacionado con el café en la provincia de Pichincha.

Abstract

This research aimed to characterize the elements that constitute the local productive arrangements of coffee in the province of Pichincha of the associations identified within the framework of social management. The methodology is of a qualitative approach, descriptive and with a non-experimental design. The information was collected through interviews, photographic records, audios and documents related to the organizations, as well as the observation of the researcher when visiting the different associations. The interview was conducted with 5 presidents of the coffee associations and a resident of the sector, finally, the technique for data analysis was content and discourse analysis, for this I use the Atlas Ti software, which is specialized in analyze qualitative data. Among the research findings, the most important were that all the members that make up the associations are being correctly informed due to the fact that they use digital means or calls that are made periodically. There is support from the public entities of the sector to which this activity belongs, such as MAGAP, CONQUITO and the Consejo Provincial. Finally, it is confirmed that the Local Productive Arrangements of coffee in the province of Pichincha have brought improvements and local development, also highlighting the job offer to the local community and in one case providing education to the members of the corresponding associations.
