Guía para la Evaluación del Rendimiento de una Red de Datos con Tecnología Ethernet

Abstract

Resumen.- El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo elaborar una guía de evaluación de rendimiento de una red de datos de tecnología Ethernet. Esta guía será aplicada a la empresa de Telecomunicaciones Telproyec, con la cual se podrá determinar el estado actual y el rendimiento de la red de datos de la empresa. La guía deberá englobar buenas prácticas, normas, indicadores que permitan analizar el estado actual de la red de datos, también debe establecer herramientas que permitan la medición de diferentes indicadores y poder definir valores umbrales que servirán de referencia para el estudio del estado actual de la red de datos de tecnología Ethernet. Telproyec, organización escogida para la aplicación del caso de estudio nunca ha sido sometida a un análisis del rendimiento de la red de datos, la guía identificará el estado actual de la red y podrá también dejar sentado los procedimientos y buenas prácticas para posteriores análisis. Finalmente se deben analizar los resultados obtenidos del análisis de la red y los mismos deben estar reflejados en conclusiones y recomendaciones, que serán de gran importancia para la empresa Telproyec. This guidance will be applied to the telecommunications company Telproyec, with which you can determine the current status and performance of the data network of the company.
