Análisis del algoritmo de handover reactivo y proactivo en sistemas femtocelda para la tecnología 4G (Long Term Evolution-Advanced)

Abstract

This final career project consists of analyzing the number of reactive and proactive handover processes in heterogeneous networks, which includes a macrocell and several femtocells. The analysis is based on MATLAB simulations. The results obtained depend on the number of femtocells and users that are considered. The results are presented with and without connection restrictions. In both case the proactive algorithm shows a higher number of handover than reactive scheme, due to the number of femtocells considered.
