Análisis del impacto de la implementación del sistema de riego por goteo en la productividad del sector agrícola en la Asociación de Productores Agropecuarios San Rafael, cantón Bolívar provincia del Carchi

Abstract

The present investigation seeks to identify the impact on the productivity of the implementation of the drip irrigation system in the San Rafael Agricultural Producers Association, in the province of Carchi, considering that there is a national government program that will lead the Agriculture and cattle Ministry for endow of technified irrigation to various agricultural associations at national level. For this investigation first we will identify the most relevant production factors for the association of San Rafael Agricultural Producers with the help of the Likert technique, and also calculate the efficiency before the implementation of the technified irrigation project and after the implementation of the project, using data provided by the Agriculture and cattle Ministry, as a tool of analysis, the DEA method will be used in conjunction with the DEAP 2.1 software. Finally it will be identified the variation that has surpassed the productivity behind the implementation of the drip irrigation system with the aid of the Malmquist index. For this purpose, we will work with the data of consecutive periods of time with the aid of DEAP software 2.1. The result of this work will assist in the decision-making by the governmental authorities regarding the implementation of future technified irrigation project
