Desarrollo de un sistema web de retroalimentación continua para los docentes de la ESFOT.

Abstract

Currently, the ESFOT, like all the Faculties of the EPN, is circumscribed and adapted to the new regulations, standards and guidelines provided by the higher education agencies of the state and the collegiate bodies of the EPN. Therefore, the teachers also receive a heteroevaluation by the students whose objective is "To know the degree of satisfaction of the students, with the training they are receiving in the EPN". This evaluation is carried out through the Integrating Information System (SII) for all teachers of the subjects in which the student is enrolled. The results of the heteroevaluation are obtained at the end of the semester, which implies that teachers receive accumulated feedback at the end of an academic period, this prevents them from taking actions during the semester to be able to improve immediately. Therefore, the solution is to create a web system where students provide continuous feedback to their teachers on the topics of the subject covered in class, that is, the teacher can know the level of understanding, the topics that must be reinforced and the satisfaction of their students about the methodology used and take corrective actions immediately. This survey is made up of generic questions that are reused by all teachers in different subjects, and the results of these surveys can only be viewed by the teacher in charge of the subject.
